Chiller Box celebrates CEDA Grand Prix Award shortlist

    PUBLISHED: 23/05/2023

The team at Chiller Box is celebrating after receiving the exciting news they have made the final of the CEDA Grand Prix Awards 2023 in the Project Management category.

The awards will feature as part of the annual CEDA Conference which takes place on the 7th and 8th June at The Hilton St Georges, Burton on Trent. This event features a series of top industry speakers and presenters all giving their expert thoughts and opinion on the future of their sector and we are really looking forward to attending and connecting with peers.

We have been recognised for our work on London Business School (LBS) in Regent’s Park which is a continually evolving and developing institution. The North Building was previously the home of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. It had existing event space and kitchens to cater for functions but when taken over by London Business School they were keen to modernise it and increase opportunities for hosting events and catering for their students.

London Business School recently expanded by taking on the North Building that was located next to their main campus. This is a 1950s building which now houses conferences and events. The site is used by the students at London Business School and the demographic is wide ranging. It includes everyone from those studying post-graduate courses and master’s degrees to people in the workplace who are undertaking further business training; as well as the venue being widely used for corporate entertainment.

Our managing director, Marios Poumpouris was the main project lead and saw it through from first meetings to handover. Having such a hands-on approach from the Chiller Box managing director allowed for a smooth running of this project as strategic decisions could be made quickly using Marios’ 30 years’ experience.

We are really proud of the work we did on this project, and it is fantastic that it has been recognised by the judges. Look out for updates from the awards next month
