It was a full turnkey project and we still had to adapt the canopy even thought it was retained, as well as implementing new floors, ceilings, cladding and the full range of kitchen equipment. The only additional element retained in the whole project was the cold room.
The Chiller Box team love working on new restaurant openings, and we’ve already been involved with several during 2023. This includes the Malaysian restaurant, Meet Bros Steakhouse in Paddington.
This was a turnkey refurbishment, so we completed the strip out first and then covered all elements of the build including floors and walls and installing all the stainless steel equipment including canopy and wash area. This work was part of a critical service so it was extremely important that we worked hard behind the scenes so that we created minimal disruption.
Chiller Box loves working on new restaurant projects especially when they have such a strong and interesting food concept. Origin is an exciting new field to fork venture based in Smithfield.
Chiller Box was delighted to have the opportunity to make a dent in the Greek street food market in London. We worked with Mediterranean foodies, Sizzled, in the heart of Bluewater shopping centre’s food court, to design and install a brand new theatre kitchen and food display counter, providing customers with an authentic Greek dining experience!
The Pickled Pig in Cuffley is a high-end butchery and deli which includes a charcuterie and fromagerie. We put in cold rooms, stainless steel sinks, a butcher’s block, mincers, band saws and specialist refrigeration equipment.
Ignite Gym has opened in Cuffley and they wanted air conditioning and ventilation throughout. To reduce the risk of the virus spreading, the owner wanted to increase the amount of ventilation in and out of the building, so we installed units that would give additional air flow. The feedback has been really positive.
The historic Walworth Town Hall, a listed building with a rich history, has been transformed into a vibrant co-working and events space with a food and beverage offer provided by JUSU Brothers. Located in the heart of Walworth, just minutes from Elephant and Castle station, the building had been out of use for the past ten years following a fire. It has been incredibly rewarding to contribute our expertise to restoring such an iconic site, now set to serve as a thriving community space.
The Chiller Box team recently completed a project at Willesden Centre for Health and Care. This is a rehabilitation centre at the heart of the community which includes a cafeteria for visitors and staff. We were asked to install a new chilled servery to improve their food and drink offer to their customers.
