Upright Freezers
Available in slimline, regular or extra large capacity models, an upright freezer is one of the most common and vital pieces of equipment in any kitchen, whether it is in a small café or a high class restaurant.
For maxiumum energy efficiency and to reduce wear and tear on the evaporator unit, commercial freezers should ideally only be used to store already-frozen produce. Ambient food contains too much moisture and results in ice crystals forming and food spoilage, so although buying produce in bulk will save money, use a blast chiller/freezer first.
